Stephen Jones and Linda Lack, from SimPhonics, conducted a KC-10 recording session while accompanying Air Force personnel on a test flight out of Travis AFB. The refueling boom sounds were recorded in addition to many other sounds in preparation for (4) Thomson Training & Simulation KC-10 full flight trainers to be delivered later this year.
