Audio Engineering Society Invites SimPhonics' President to Join Networked Audio Committee

2/2/2004

Stephen Jones, President and co-founder of SimPhonics, Inc. is now a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Committee on Networked Audio Systems.

The Networked Audio Systems Technical Committee, under the direction of the AES Technical Council, responds to the interests of the membership by providing technical information, developing tutorial information while tracking and reporting the very latest advances in technology and applications.

This committee has two main areas of focus: following research, development and practice in the use of networked audio systems; and participating in the ongoing dialogue among parties in industry, professional audio, and government regarding the implementation of audio systems in large-scale fast networks, such as Internet2.

SimPhonics is proud to be a part of guiding and developing new technologies for this aspect of our industry.
