V+ and EBC
Corp's simulated SINCGARS front panel can now be combined to form a multi-channel
SINCGARS DIS/HLA compliant radio. Traditionally in order to construct such a system, you
needed an expensive dedicated audio system, a SINCGARS model server, and a front panel.
Now, all you need is an EBC SINCGARS front panel, V+ software, Vcomm
from eMDee Technology and a multimedia ready PC
with a network card installed to do the same task.
The EBC front panel connects via a standard COM port while the audio from the front panel
connects directly into a multimedia card.
A single PC can serve multiple radios. The number of COM ports and multimedia cards is the
limitation, a number that will only increase over time.

Any network card that has a Windows driver (virtually
all) will work with V+. This means that you can use 10/100BaseT, FDDI/CDDI, etc., and are
not restricted to 10BaseT. Also, by using V+, you are working in a 32bit modern operating
system instead of 16 bit DOS.
V+, which is the heart of the system, provides
unprecedented levels of user programmability. From changing actual SINCGARS functionality
to adding a sound effect or tone, V+ is completely user-programmable without the need to
write a single line of software.
