This USB Push-To-Talk device, or "lower portion" is to be used in conjunction with an upper headset portion (PN: SMAHD2). The PTT signal is exposed to Windows as a human interface digital input and can be used with SimPhonics’ V+ to activate simulated radios, etc. You can purchase this USB PTT device with headset for a complete assembly; PN: SMXUSB-102. This is typically used with simulated voice communications equipment such as a Workstation or FXDirect system.
