Opinicus Corp has ordered a 48 Channel SMx Audio System for an Airborne Express DC-9, FAA Level-D capable, simulator. SimPhonics is providing the hardware and software to simulate Cockpit Aural Cues, Navigation Tones and Communications Systems. Opinicus is purchasing their own chassis and is responsible for the implementation, installation and functionality of the system, with little labor support from SimPhonics.

SimPhonics, Opinicus Corporation and Hydradyne have partnered themselves to upgrade 18 of Northwest Airlines training fleet. SimPhonics got the first Level D system signed off with Northwest back in 1999 and will continue to support and update 6 types of commercial trainers over the coming years.

Northwest Airlines training facility, is one of the largest of its kind in the world. Pilots come from a variety of different airlines to train on the most up-to-date technology available. In cooperation, SimPhoincs has been selected to update a possible 24 trainers of the next 2-3 years. With many DC-10's already installed, we look forward to supporting Northwest now and in the future.
