VComm Radio Entity Type

Object Description

The VComm Radio Entity Type object can be used in conjunction with VComm Radio Objects to provide specific entity type information for a given radio.

 

To use the object, simply connect the radio handle output of a radio/intercom object to the radio handle input of this object. The data that is present on the input pins is applied to the radio/intercomm object to which it is attached.

Input Pins

Handle

Radio Handle from either the VComm GENERIC Radio, V8 DIS Only or the VComm GENERIC Radio, V8 DIS/HLA.

Domain

The Domain pin is used to designate from which country the radio originates. Refer to the SISO enumerations document (SISO-REF-010-2006) for values, the first six of which are described in the following table:

Country

The Country pin is used to designate from which country the radio originates. Refer to the SISO enumerations document (SISO-REF-010-2006) for values.

Nomenclature Ver

The Nomenclature Version pin is used to provide an enumeration value as per the SISO enumerations document.

Example

In this example, a VComm GENERIC Radio is connected to a VComm Radio Entity Type object. The Domain is set to 1 representing Land. All the other values are set to 0, which is the default.
