VComm Radio Model Data | |
ID: 1095 |
Object Description |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The VComm Radio Model Data object can be used in conjunction with VComm Radio Objects. It can extend the capabilities of controlling the radio model data for those radio objects. To use the object, simply connect the radio handle output of a radio object to the radio handle input of this object. The data collected on the input pins is sent to the radio object and can be changed while V+ is running. Note: The VComm HAVEQUICK object, when used in conjunction with this object and enabled, will override this object's BANDWIDTH, MAJOR MOD, DETAIL MOD, and SYSTEM pins. Refer to the Special Usage notes in the VComm HAVEQUICK help page. |

Input Pins |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
BANDWIDTH |
This defines the bandwidth of the transmitted radio signal. Units: Hertz Range: Any floating point number greater than or equal to 0.
MAJOR MOD DETAIL MOD |
The modulation parameters for the radio. The combination of these two values determine the type of modulation that will be used. The following combinations of values are valid:
|
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
SYSTEM |
The modulation system for the given radio. The following values are valid:
|
Note: Values for HQ, HQII, and HQIIA (2, 3, and 4 respectively) are ignored. Refer to the Special Usage notes in the VComm HAVEQUICK help page for more information.
HNDL |
This input pin determines which radio is controlled by this object. This pin should be connected to the radio handle output pin of the radio object to be controlled.
Example |

The example below demonstrates the use of the VComm Radio Model Data object. It is attached to a VComm GENERIC Radio, V8 DIS Only object. Note that the radio's static data and the data from the VComm Radio Model Data object correspond with the snapshot from the VComm Monitor. VComm Monitor Snapshot |
